Two rival fixers cross paths when they’re both called in to cover up the misstep of a prominent New York official. On one explosive night, they must put aside their petty grievances and egos to finish the job. Sony, Lionsgate, Apple and Netflix engaged in a bidding war for the film package before Apple sealed the deal. Brad Pitt and George Clooney, who are both producing the film through their production companies, are reportedly taking less to negotiate a theatrical release with Apple. Early in the film, George Clooney opens the backpack unicorn with a knife, letting the stuffing hang out. Near the end of the film, the unicorn is intact. Clooney’s Wolf showed some ability, while Pitt’s never showed why he should be considered good at anything.Watched this film with a friend and after the film ended, neither of us had anything to say. Couldn’t even manage a shrug. Can’t believe Apple has already approved a sequel. They really need to get Soderbergh to direct this film. The film looked good but was burdened with a mediocre film school script and cut by a bored editor.
