When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel , and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford on the show, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type” and was going to audition with people like Ford. Segel told Goldstein that they had to at least bring it up to Ford first, thinking he would immediately turn it down, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford was being brought on for the project, which sparked interest from other notable actors.
Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was excited nonetheless. The Shrink was just as good as I had hoped.
First of all, as soon as I saw Harrison Ford and Jason Segal starring in it, I was already going to watch it, but then when I read all the positive reviews and watched the trailer, my excitement grew even more. I’m not saying it’s the best show of the year, but it’s an original, feel-good comedy that will have you laughing through every episode.

One moment it's a visual delight like a music video with creepy steadycam and expertly framed shots. The next it's romance. Then it's comedy when Bosko flips the bird.Just like previous showtime show Homeland this takes the cake for overseas adaptations.
Where High Potential is nothing but formulaic, network TV fodder this is the juicy stuff you sign up for cable for.

Media researcher Muncie Daniels must fight for his innocence and his life after he stumbles upon a murder deep in the Poconos. He really knows how to turn reading a phone book into a gripping story. It’s insanely powerful right now. The dialogue is embarrassingly bad. They try so hard to be loud and energetic, but it feels too predictable and corny. There’s a lot of stuff in the story that defies common sense from the start. I’m always asking ‘why why?!’ So much so that after episode 2, I skipped episode 7 just to see what happens at the end. I have no doubt that the episodes I missed were just over-the-top storytelling and unnecessary dialogue.

During the war, a poor lumberjack and his wife live in a large forest. One day, the woman finds and rescues a little girl, which brings an irreversible change to the couple’s life, and to the lives of those whose paths the child will cross.
It tells a story that takes place in Poland during World War II, almost like a popular fairy tale. Most of the plot takes place in the forest typical of said popular fairy tales, when a couple of lumberjacks turn up to adopt a Jewish little girl who was thrown off a deportation train that passed through their forest.
Her father threw her off to save her from certain death in Auschwitz. I won’t go into the details of the plot so you can see them for yourself, I just want to add that the film reaches a deeply philosophical conclusion.
The drawing style is just right, not too detailed and not too harsh, mostly showing scenes in low light with dominant shades of gray, thus highlighting the horrors of the most infamous war and mass destruction in the history of humanity. And then there is the soundtrack, which is sublime: The musical score, the sound effects, the narration and the dubbing (I saw the original version in French), are fully capable of presenting a gem of a film.

Introducing Half in the Bag: 2022 Mid-Year Catch-Up Part 1 (TV Shows) (2022). Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) Written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans Presented by The Pixies. The first season was an intriguing, somewhat creative premise that showed a lot of ground to cover. But in the third season, it starts to feel like they’re dragging it out for no particular reason.
Season 3 was basically 8 hours of boring drama and 10 minutes of new plot elements. They’re just added to a string of unanswered plot lines. To make matters worse, the dialogue seems to be limited to just vocals. It’s there just to fill the time while the show searches for a starting point.
The show suffers from the same problem as The Walking Dead, which repeats and recycles the same plot lines until they become completely ineffective. The scary monsters no longer add to the excitement, but feel like a sideshow that has been abandoned after the circus left town.
